    I've learned the healthy capacity of unplugging, reducing my "wants" and only focusing on my "needs" and how it impacts the environment. I like my clean air!

    I learned that even small changes can make a huge difference.  If each person takes a small step, the whole planet will benefit, and so will every living thing.

    I found that I enjoyed my meal more and ate less than I would have if I were watching TV or on the internet.

    I've found that a lot of items are excessively packaged.  I plan to do more local small business and farm market shopping to reduce the amount of packaging waste.

    Notice how much time you were spending checking email away from work and make note of that. Now that you have stepped away from it and have not been checking, what changes are you noticing in your thoughts, use of time, stress and energy levels?

    I found that I no longer feel like I need to know what is going on all the time.  The email will still be there tomorrow and can be addressed then.

    I think it forces you to recognize the kindness that is shown to you, that you may not acknowledge in the moment.

    I don't know enough about the agriculture industry to answer, but I imagine pest control in some areas is a huge consideration.

    Why do people in richer countries eat more meat than people in other places? How does eating more meat affect our planet and other people?

    Richer countries have more food available and more choices.  Also, they can afford to spend more on the food they purchase.
