REFLECTION QUESTIONWaste Find Local Recycling DepotsOur ability to recycle certain things ebbs and flows based upon many factors, including market demand for recyclables. Luckily there are places that accept uncommon things to recycle or dispose of in a less harmful way. What did you find when looking for places to recycle items that can't be recycled in your curbside bin?
Kenneth Slaysman 4/11/2021 10:25 AMI found a place to recycle electronics, tires and used motor oil in my community. It is true that opportunities ebb and flow so the best solution is to reduce. -

REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Smart Seafood ChoicesMany states and countries have advisories on eating fish. Find out what is advised for your region. Do you think your diet choices fall within these guidelines? What steps do you need to take to make sure that they do?
Kenneth Slaysman 3/30/2021 4:20 PMIn Pennsylvania the Department of Environmental Protection issues fish advisories. In the most recent advisory we are warned not to eat fish from the Shenango River. I'm good on this guideline. To make sure I stay safe I should check the DEP advisories regularly.
