    This is actually so much fun! This is my first time being part of Dickinson’s challenge and didn’t know how productive I’d be!!

    Food Weekly Meal Planning
    An average American throws out about 240 lbs of food per year. The average family of four in the US spends $1,500 a year on food that they throw out. Does this surprise you? Where would you rather use this money?

    This doesn’t surprise me at all. I think one of the things that you could save this money towards is saving up for a solar panel. That way you’re not wasting food and you’re investing in cleaner energy.

    Why do people in richer countries eat more meat than people in other places? How does eating more meat affect our planet and other people?

    People have easier access to buying foods that satisfy their desires especially when they don’t have to worry about money. In return this adds to their carbon food print as they have to buy the meat products that they want to eat. This adds more carbon to our atmosphere whether it be driving to get to the grocery store or eating and wasting the product.
