By walking instead of driving, I get to slow down and take in my environment. Feeling the breeze (and not just from an open car window), hearing the birds, saying hello to neighbors...it's refreshing to spend some time outside.

I could shut down my computer every night, turn off my monitors, ensure the lights are off if I'm the last one out of the office. These little steps can go a long way to help.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Waste Use a Reusable Water Bottle
While water bottles are needed for health and safety in certain places, we can do more to reduce the unnecessary use of them. What are the barriers to you using reusable bottles and tap water instead of bottled water? How could you make this a permanent habit?

By carrying a refillable water bottle with me, I'm able to refill from drinking fountains or office water coolers.
